Our core busines is training. At Corporate First Aid Australia, we are recognised as the community services and training specialists.

We understand that for training to be effective, it has to be fun!

Check our testimonial page, we think we are getting this right.

While saving lives is no laughing matter.

Knowing how to keep others ‘stayin’ alive’, can be a whole lot of fun!

During our courses we talk about DRSABCD, which is an easy acronym to remember.

You have plenty of time to learn and practice all of these steps.

D Danger – Ensure the area is safe for your self, others and the patient.

R Response – Check for response – ask for the person’s name – squeeze their shoulders. If there is no response send for help. If there is a response, make the person comfortable, check for injuries and monitor response.

S Send for help – Call Triple Zero (000) for an ambulance or ask another person to make the call.

A Airways – Open the person’s mouth – if foreign material is present, place the person in the recovery position and clear airway.

B Breathing – Check for breathing – look, listen and feel. Not breathing normally, then start CPR. If the person is breathing normally and unresponsive manage the airway.

C CPR – Start CPR – 30 chest compressions : 2 breaths. Continue CPR until help arrives or patient recovers.

D Defibrillation – Apply defibrillator if available and follow voice prompts.

Here is another clip showing a hands-on demonstration and it is still funny.
