Traineeships

At Corporate First Aid Australia, we value synergy. Along with our parent company, Work Smart, we can offer a unique seamless experience.

CFAA is well known for the delivery of high-quality training in community services and health and Work Smart takes the ‘hassle’ from employers, by the management of quality apprentices and trainees.

Traineeships are an ideal way to gain National Recognised Qualifications, and offer the opportunity to explore the many and varied career options available in the health and community services industry.

If you are someone who genuinely cares for others, and enjoys making a difference in the lives of others, then a career in the community services and health sector, will suit you.

CFAA offer both traineeships and school-based traineeships in CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.

School-based Traineeships (Disability) provide students aged 15 years or older, with valuable employment skills, hands-on industry experience and a nationally recognised qualification, while still completing secondary school qualifications.

As a Trainee Support Worker, you will provide personal, physical and emotional support to the aged and/or people with disability, to assist them in their daily living. This includes:

  • Assisting clients with personal care needs, such as showering, shaving and basic human needs.
  • Supporting mobility by the use of specific equipment like hoists, wheelchairs and aids
  • Encouraging clients to engage in social activities to maintain connections with other community members.

Traineeships in CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Home and Community) are also available.
