About the Course

This CPR and Low Voltage Rescue Course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to: 

  • maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest. 

  • perform a rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus.

It is an industry standard requirement to act as a safety observer for energised electrical work, you must have been assessed in the previous 12 months as competent to rescue and resuscitate a person

Student Support Services

We have identified a number of support services for students who have special needs, or require additional support and assistance to undertake or complete their learning. Please discuss any concerns you may have with your trainer assessor.

Pricing

Scheduled or custom courses in our Bunbury or Albany training centre

  • $148 per participant​

  • $138 per participant for group bookings (10 or more

Workplace delivery (within 50km of our Bunbury or Albany training centre)

  • $158 per participant (minimum 6 participants)

  • $148 per participant (10 or more)

Courses outside a 50 km radius will be subject to a travelling fee.

Assessment

  1. Observation assessments where you are required to demonstrate the correct procedures for:

  •  Adult CPR

  •  Infant CPR

  • Prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panel

  • Carry out rescue from a live LV panel

  • Complete the live LV panel rescue procedure

  2. Structured activity where you are to complete an incident report

  3. Knowledge quiz where you need to answer all questions correctly

It is a requirement of this course that :

  • practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the adult manikin on the floor.

  • participants must have the physical ability of performing a rescue from a live LV panel using appropriate rescue equipment.
