About the Course
This CPR and Low Voltage Rescue Course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to:

maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest.

perform a rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus.
It is an industry standard requirement to act as a safety observer for energised electrical work, you must have been assessed in the previous 12 months as competent to rescue and resuscitate a person

Assessment

Observation assessments where you are required to demonstrate the correct procedures for:

Adult CPR

Infant CPR

Prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panel

Carry out rescue from a live LV panel

Complete the live LV panel rescue procedure
2. Structured activity where you are to complete an incident report
3. Knowledge quiz where you need to answer all questions correctly
It is a requirement of this course that :
-
practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the adult manikin on the floor.
-
participants must have the physical ability of performing a rescue from a live LV panel using appropriate rescue equipment.
