The year of 2017 brought with it some unexpected changes for the team at Corporate First Aid Australia. We have farewelled one team member, who is pursuing her own business with great success. We welcomed into the CFAA family, three new team members, who have brought a diverse range of skills and vocational education and training experience. The CFAA Team have worked to ensure 31 high-quality trained graduates, are work ready for the local health and community services industry. We have trained 882 people in first aid and another 590 people have chosen CFAA to renew their cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills with us. We are pleased to note, that there are an additional 1472 people who have gained life saving skills in the South West region.
At CFAA we know for certain that our graduates are sought after by industry because industry call us directly, looking for high-quality carers. On Monday 27 February, 15 volunteers from South West Community Care (SWCC), a not-for-profit home and community care organisation, undertook specialised non-accredited training at the SWCC Eaton Day Centre. Delivered by award winning, community services and training specialists, Corporate First Aid Australia, the Volunteer Skills Set was funded by the Australian Government Volunteers Grants (2015).
