It’s a small world after all, especially if our world was condensed to 100 people….with each one representing 70 million people.

Of that 100 people, 95 people would have regular hearing, four people would be hearing impaired and one person would be deaf.

On a world scale that equates to 70 million people who are deaf, 280 million people who are hearing impaired, while the rest of the 700 million enjoy regular hearing.

How much is too much noise? Check out the noise simulator at http://www.hearingawarenessweek.org.au/too-loud

If you snore, you are sending out between 60 – 90 decibels of pure annoyance per emission or maybe more. There are greater implications for your health, so it is best to see a GP before you find yourself sleeping on the verandah!
